Manufacturing on three continents

Today AGCO Power serves the global off-road market’s power needs from four factories across four countries on three continents.

On this page you will find more information on each of the production facilities.

Linnavuori, Finland

The Linnavuori plant is where everything started in 1942 and it continues to be AGCO’s global hub for engine development. The plant received major expansions in 2024 and 2025 and currently the CORE engine family is exclusively manufactured in Linnavuori.

The plant has a manufacturing capacity of up to 50 000 diesel engines annually and 850 employees.

Research & Advanced Engineering unit at the TUNI campus in Hervanta and the Power Generation unit in Tesoma, Tampere are also nearby.

Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil

Valmet do Brazil was founded in 1960 and local tractor manufacturing started in 1962 in a plant located in Mogi das Cruzes, some 60 km from Sao Paulo.

At that time, the engine had to be a local make and Valmet chose MWM as its partner. The first delivery of 50 Complete Build Up (CBU) 420 DS engines was made for Valmet 985S models in 1993.

Current production capacity is approximately 30 000 engines annually. Cylinder blocks and cylinder heads are also manufactured at this plant.

Changzhou, China

The AGCO Power production facility is located in Changzhou, north-west from Shanghai, in China. Production in this plant started in 2012 and moved in 2015 to the new AGCO Changzhou premises.

In Changzhou AGCO Power produces 3- and 4-cylinder medium duty engines in power range 70 – 130 hp. Engines for global markets cover all emission levels from Tier 2 to Tier 4.

The production capacity is 30 000 engines per year.

General Rodriguez, Argentina

The second AGCO Power production facility in South America was founded in 2014 and is located in General Rodriguez, some 70 km from Bueno Aires.

The annual production capacity is 3,000 engines for the local market.
